"It is therefore not only necessary, that wickedness, even when it is not safe to censure it, be denied applause, but that goodness be commended only in proportion to its degree" (Samuel Johnson, The Rambler, July 1751)

The Prana Strech Zion Slim Pants have been, for the last four years, my adventure, weekend, travel, (almost) everything pants.

In pre-Stretch Zion times, I never purchased the same brand and model twice. There was always something missing in either the fit, the look, or the quality of hiking pants.

I currently own four pairs of Stretch Zions and will buy more when the time comes.

It has come to my attention, however, that there are people who hate the poor pants. The hostility is aimed at the second edition of the Stretch Zions because there were changes in the fabric and the button.

The button.

Dislike is understandable, but hatred? They are just pants.
