in the week of gratitude, I want to give thanks to The Spirited Man for showing me the existence of the recording of Fred Rogers' testimony in 1969.
My guess is that, for the many of us who did not grow up in the United States, Mr. Rogers is scarcely a cultural reference. And now, after watching this mesmerizing speech and reading the YouTube comments, I have the sensation that I have missed something important.
